  • How do I know if I need an aerobic or conventional septic system?
This will depend on the type of soil on your property. The easiest way is to just reach out to us - we’d be more than happy to help!
  • What is a septic tank system?
A septic tank system is an underground wastewater treatment structure used in areas without centralized sewer systems. It consists of a septic tank and a drain field that naturally treats wastewater from household plumbing.
  • How does a septic system work?
Wastewater from your home flows into the septic tank, where solids settle at the bottom, and liquids flow to the drain field for further treatment. Bacteria in the tank break down organic matter.
  • What are the benefits of a septic tank system?
Septic systems are cost-effective, environmentally friendly, and ideal for homes in rural areas without access to a city sewer line.
  • How long does it take to install a septic tank?
Installation typically takes 3–5 days, depending on site conditions, weather, and system complexity.
  • Do I need a permit to install a septic tank?
Yes, most counties require a permit for septic tank installation. We handle the permitting process to ensure compliance with local regulations.
  • What size septic tank do I need for my home?
The size depends on your household size and water usage. Generally, a 1,000-gallon tank is suitable for a 3-bedroom home, but we can assess your specific needs.
  • Can you install septic systems in all types of soil?
Septic system installation depends on soil type and drainage. We conduct soil tests to determine the best system for your property.
  • Do you offer financing?
We don’t directly offer financing, but we’d be happy to suggest some options. Just reach out and we can help you out!
  • How much does it cost to install a septic system?
Costs vary depending on the system type, soil conditions, and property size. We provide free estimates to give you an accurate cost for your project.
  • What should I do if my septic system backs up?
If you experience a backup, call a professional immediately. Avoid using water until the issue is resolved to prevent further damage.
  • What causes a septic tank to fail?
Common causes of failure include poor maintenance, overloading the system with too much water, tree root intrusion, or soil problems.
  • How often should I pump my septic tank?
It’s recommended to pump your septic tank every 3–5 years, depending on usage. Regular maintenance prolongs the life of your system.
  • Can I use household chemicals with a septic system?
Avoid excessive use of harsh chemicals, as they can kill the bacteria that help break down waste in your septic tank.
  • What are the signs that my septic system needs maintenance?
Common signs include slow drains, sewage odors, pooling water in the yard, or backups. These could indicate the tank needs to be pumped or serviced.
